Percival Lycett was born on the 21st July 1891. He entered Dudley Grammar School on 13th November 1899 when his parent was given as Mr James Albert Lycett, Burn Tree House, Tipton, Superintendent of Electric Tramway. Percival left the school in April 1903 due to ‘Mr Lycett returning to Kinver’.

He was not a casualty of the war and appears erroneously on the memorial.
